Deep, Dark Forests

~ Deep, dark forests
Loom above our heads
The tall trees block out the sun
But we still have to trudge on
Everyone in their life has to go down this path
The one to keep hold of hope, is the one who gets the best out of it.
Swinging branches fall and scatter,
One too many have fallen to be left behind.
The woods have changed throughtout the years,
For good and bad reasons.
For this year, I find, there is more bad than good,
It's changed, now darker, more harder to cope.
Once in a blue moon, one always comes along,
One who can change this dark magic,
To make it better again before it dwells too deep in darkness. ~
